Taïga Zone has been a leader in the design and manufacturing of high quality wood pools for number of years.
Why WOOD? Because this material not only offers the advantage of strength and resilience, it looks good in any backyard. Wood will blend in with the lawn, trees, garden and other landscaping elements, not to mention the wooden deck. Wood is natural. It will not stand out as an eyesore each time you look out your window, whatever the season. People invest a lot of time and money in their home to make it beautiful. At Taïga Zone, we wanted to provide consumers with an affordable above-ground or semi-inground pool that would actually enhance their backyard landscaping instead of ruining the view.
Until 1998, the installation of a wood pool required a higher level of craftsmanship as well as more time when compared to the installation of conventional above-ground pools. As a result, retailers refrained from offering wood pools to consumers either because they could not provide such craftsmanship or because the installation costs made the overall price of a wood pool too expensive.
After years of research and development, Taïga Zone introduced, in 1999, a new generation of wood pools using a panel concept in order to make their installation as easy as for conventional above-ground pools. Since then, Taïga Zone pools have been sold not only in Canada, but in the U.S. and in Europe as well, the number of stores displaying the
Annecy, Frontenac and Chambord collections rapidly increasing each year.
